Efficient Pack Management. Users can add packs into the system and quickly perform tally operations. Essential measurements such as net board feet, gross board feet, and surface measure are automatically calculated, streamlining data entry and reducing errors.

Versatile Tallying Methods. The application supports multiple tallying techniques, including Piece ("export") tallies, Block tallies, and Fixed Width tallies, accommodating various operational preferences.

Load Documentation. Packs can be grouped into loads with corresponding documentation generated seamlessly. These load documents can be printed wirelessly for immediate distribution or emailed directly to customers, enhancing communication efficiency.

Advanced Selection Filters. The system allows users to view specific subsets of packs through customizable selections. For example, it is possible to filter all hickory packs in inventory with an average width exceeding 15 inches, facilitating targeted analysis.

Flexible Sorting Options. Packs can be sorted according to various criteria such as Pack Number, Species, Species then Grade then Thickness, or Customer then Load Number. This flexibility aids in organizing and analyzing data effectively.

Comprehensive Reporting. Pack Tally provides a suite of twelve professional reports accessible directly on the iPhone. Reports include summaries of all packs by tally date, inventory by species, grade, and thickness, shipped packs by customer and load number, load documents, pack ID tags (printed on 4x6 cards suitable for stapling), tally sheets, and more. These reports can be previewed wirelessly, printed remotely, or emailed as needed.

Customizable Pack List Reports. Users can generate tailored pack list reports using various selection and sorting options. Reports can be configured to display totals only—showing subtotals and grand totals—or detailed information including individual pack pieces by length and width, offering customizable insights aligned with operational requirements.

Data Export Capabilities. All pack and load data can be exported into Excel format for further analysis or record-keeping outside the application.
